INTERNATIONAL COOKIE CLUB LAUNCHED TO BRING COOKIE LOVERS TOGETHER, POST RECIPIES, PROFILE CHEFS THE COOKIE DETECTIVE FINDS LOST RECIPIES…AND IS ON THE CASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. November 30 2003--– The International Cookie Club (ICC) announced its inaugural website today to serve the informational needs of the world's cookie-lovers. The website, located at www.internationalcookieclub.com, seeks to become the Internet's central hub for Cookie enthusiasts.
    The purpose of the International Cookie Club is to serve as a Cookie recipe and Cookie information clearinghouse for amateur and professional chefs worldwide and will initially provide information on the ICC's three primary services:
·    The Cookie Cutter Club: Tell the millions of people on the Internet about a special Cookie recipe and the story behind it! The International Cookie Club will PUBLISH the contributing chef's Recipe, name, and any interesting story related to the Cookies or the recipe the International Cookie Club website. A photograph of the contributor, the Cookies, or both can be included and the link where the posting (for one year) is listed will be sent to the contributor.

·    The Cookie Detective: Have you been searching for that special (or lost) Cookie recipe? Just tell us the name of the Cookie or what you think it is called and the key ingredients, shape, and taste, and the Cookie Detective will get to work. The International Cookie Club will then send the recipe to the Cookie fan.

·    The Cookies of the Month Club: Every month, the International Cookie Club will send (by e-mail or regular mail) three of the most intriguing and exciting recipes we find! These will not be the cookie recipes published on the International Cookie Club website. Those are contributed by the members of the Cookie Cutter Club as described above and are free to everyone. These recipes will come to you from our research and analysis of Cookie news and fully attributed. Only members of the Cookie of the Month Club will receive them.

   
    The first Cookie content, recipes, photographs, and other Cookie news on site is scheduled for December 15 in time for the December holidays. Small fees are charged for the International Cookie Club's Cookie services: $5.00 for posting a recipe and story for one year or $10.00 with a photograph; $5.00 per recipe investigated by The Cookie Detective and fully refunded if recipe is not located; and $25.00 per year for membership in the Cookies of the Month Club for 36 recipes.
